Often, other fans will post tickets they cannot use on free classifieds websites such as CraigsList.  This is a risky way to purchase tickets but if you can meet with the seller in person and verify the authenticity of the tickets, you can sometimes find a very good deal.

Fan Clubs

Just about every major artist has an official fan club which are sometimes free to join.  Fanclub members usually get presale access to ticket sales, discounts, and perhaps possible backstage or other special access.

Alumni

Are you a member of an alumni association or may be able to join one?  Often these associations provide tickets for related events (often college sports) to their alumni members before they are available to the general public.

eBay

eBay Tickets can be a great tool for buying good tickets at market value and often tickets for below face-value.  Read our information about eBay Tickets.

Ticket Brokers

Ticket brokers are almost always the easiest and most reliable way to attain premium event tickets.  There isn't much sense in searching the hundreds of ticket brokers out there when over 99% of tickets available are on either TicketsNow, StubHub, RazorGator, or BigStub.  There is a list of several more brokers on our links page.
